We will do everything possible in order to fulfill the expectations of each delegation, so that ‘Horizon Cup’ will become an established tournament and grow every year”, quoted Dimitrios Giannoulidis, the Technical Director of the competition, who as a gymnast had participated in the 1976 Olympic Games with the team of Czechoslovakia team and in 1978 formed part of the first-ever Greek national team at the World Championships held in Strasbourg, France.
